Feature: Tudor unveils new models at Watches & Wonders 2025

Tudor has revealed several new watches at this year’s Watches & Wonders event in Geneva—the majority of which are, of course, Black Bays. Here are the pieces that caught our attention.

Black Bay 68, reference M7943A1A0NU-0001

This Black Bay 68 is going to be a huge talking point among Tudor fans. Named after the year the brand first came up with its now signature snowflake hand, this stainless-steel model is the largest Black Bay yet with a 43mm case.

It boasts Master Chronometer certification and comes with either a dark blue dial or a silver dial, both with a black bezel.

It's powered by the slightly larger in-house Calibre MT5601-U which holds a 70-hour power reserve. As with previous Black Bays, it’s water resistant to a respectable 200 metres.

Pelagos Ultra, reference M2543C1A7NU-0001

This new Pelagos model is the most technically capable ever with an incredible water resistance of 1,000 metres.

The Pelagos Ultra in titanium was built for deep-sea diving and uses blue lume colours on the dial and green on the minute hand to improve legibility in low light. Its case, which features a helium escape valve, is a hefty 43mm.

Its titanium bracelet has been completely redesigned to include a diver’s extension with new visual indicator system—two handy features for saturation divers. An extra rubber strap is also provided.

Black Bay 58 burgundy, reference M7939A1A0RU-0002

We’ve got to say, we’re big fans of this steel Black Bay 58 with its burgundy dial and bezel. Considering it’s based on a similarly coloured unreleased Tudor Submariner prototype from the 1990s, we think it’ll be a hit with vintage enthusiasts too.

It follows previous versions of the Black Bay 58 in black and blue, and retains the same 39mm case size, although the movement is now the in-house Calibre MT5400-U. This movement boasts METAS Master Chronometer certification, unlike the COSC-rated movements of previous Black Bay 58s.

It comes on either an Oyster-style or Jubilee-style bracelet. A slightly more affordable black strap version is also available.

Black Bay Pro, reference M79470-0004

Considering sister brand, Rolex has both white and black dial versions of its dual-time Explorer II, which the Black Bay Pro is largely influenced by—you could say this new white opaline dial Black Bay Pro was pretty predictable. Despite that, we’re big fans of its minimalist design.

Besides the dial, there’s no change to the case size or movement, with the same calibre MT5652 as used in the black dial version, and water resistance is still 200 metres.

It comes on a choice of a three-link bracelet, Nato-style strap, or hybrid leather and rubber strap.

Black Bay Chrono, reference M79360N-0014

Tudor has also released new versions of its stainless-steel Black Bay Chrono models, giving them updated rivet-style bracelets inspired by the folding riveted bracelets it made back in the 1950s and 1960s.

Both bracelets feature Tudor’s “T-fit” rapid adjustment clasp.
